On Sunday morning, March 22, 2020, our beautiful mother, Tila, passed away peacefully in her home, surrounded by her family, at the age of 91. Otila was born in Garciasville, Texas. She came to Copperas Cove with her husband, and four children in 1962. Otila was a longtime parishioner and volunteer at Holy Family Catholic Church. We find comfort knowing that she is again reunited with the friendsand family that she lost long ago. Our family was beyond blessed to have had her as a loving Christian role model, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She was dearly loved by everyone who knew her. She was best known for her kind smile that she would always share with all those around her as she had a true love for people, she knew no strangers. Until God chooses to bring us together again, mom will always be in a warm place in our hearts and in our sweet loving memories.

I'm so sorry for the loss of Mrs. Perez. She was a proper lady and I always got a God bless you when we finished conversations. She was our neighbor for 24 years and was always very nice to us. There were times when we almost had arguments about me helping her with yard work haha sometimes I would win most times she would. She was a wonderful woman and will be greatly missed. GOD BLESS

I am so sorry for your loss. I remember coming over when I was just a teenager and having her home cooked tacos. She was always so nice and me. She was a sweet lady that loved to be in the kitchen talking! I remember her always wearing pretty dresses!
