Pablo M. Martinez, 85, of Copperas Cove, Texas passed away February 8, 2020. Pablo was born April 28, 1934 in Piedra Negras, Coahuila, Mexico to Santos Martinez and Matilde Molina.

Pablo married the love of his life, Yolanda Hernandez, on March 28 in 1965. They were married 54 years.

He served in honorably in the U.S. Army until he retired in 1980 after 27 years of service. He was apart of the First Cavalry division as a Military Police Officer and Correctional Specialist.

In his retirement, Pablo enjoyed gardening and spending time with his grandsons. Whether it was football, baseball, or any other activity they were involved in: he was the number one fan of his Champs.

Pablo is proceeded in death by his parents, four brothers and one sister.

He is survived by his loving wife, Yolanda Martinez; daughter Icela Martinez Witkowski and son-in-law Xavier G. Witkowski; grandsons Tyler Agnello and McKenzie Agnello; and brother Santiago Martinez

A visitation will be held from 6 - 8pm on Wednesday February 12, 2020 at Crawford Bowers Funeral Home in Copperas Cove. A committal service will be held at Central Texas State Veterans Cemetery at 9 am Thursday February 13, 2020 where he will receive military honors for his dutiful service in the United States Army.
