Pauline Wilkinson

Pauline was born on September 10, 1930 to Andy M and Florence M Price in Rayville, LA the 5th of 8 children. Her parents took in 4 of her oldest sister’s children and they raised them.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Howard N. Wilkinson. She is survived by her children, Patricia Leal (Ed), Alecia Austin, Martha Wilkinson, and Michael Wilkinson (Amanda); six (6) grandchildren and ten (10) great grandchildren. She is also survived by sisters Erline Shoemaker and Shirley Ann Welch as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

She was the secretary at First Baptist Church with Lee Roy Williamson from 1965 -1967.

She was school secretary at Halstead Elementary from 1967 - 1976 and then transferred to the Curriculum Office until 1995 when she retired from Copperas Cove ISD.

She was a member of First Baptist Church in Copperas Cove since 1963, taught 5 year old SS for many years, and worked with the Church’s Benevolence Program for many years.

Pauline received awards from the Noon Exchange Club of Copperas Cove. She was awarded “Senior Citizen of the Quarter” on 3/23/2007 and “Outstanding Senior Citizen Award 2007” on 6/8/2007.

A visitation is scheduled for Friday Jan. 12 from 5-7 pm at Crawford-Bowers, Copperas Cove. A funeral service is scheduled for Saturday Jan.13 at 1pm at First Baptist Church of Copperas Cove.
