Ramona Anita Green Ewell

Funeral Services for the wonderful wife, mother and woman, Ramona Anita Ewell, 57, of Copperas Cove will be 2 p.m. Thursday, January 6, 2011 at the First Baptist Church of Copperas Cove. Brother Mark Kemp will officiate with burial service to follow in the Copperas Cove City Cemetery.

Mrs. Ewell passed away January 1, 2011.

Mrs. Ewell was born October 4, 1953 in Heilbronn, Germany. Her parents were Billy Charles and Elsie Lydia (Waldmann) Green. She married James Lee Ewell on January 12, 1973 in Eureka, Utah and has lived in Copperas Cove for the past twenty two years.

Mrs. Ewell worked as a chef at Copperas Cove High School for fifteen years and was employed by Walmart for six years.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Michael Green.

Survivors include her husband, James Ewell of Copperas Cove; five sons, Chad Ewell and his wife, Amber of Carlisle, PA, Jeremy Ewell and his wife, Marlo, of Joliet, IL, Anthony Ewell of Copperas Cove, Joshua Ewell and his wife, Kellie, of Fort Meade, MD, and Christopher Ewell and his wife, Sarah, of Copperas Cove; three brothers, Billy Green of Eureka, Utah, Stanley and Scotty Green, both of Winamucca, Nevada; a sister, Lillian Sheehan of Rock Springs, Wyoming; and eleven grandchildren.

A time of visitation will be Wednesday evening from 6 to 8 p.m. at Crawford-Bowers Funeral Home in Copperas Cove.
