Randall “Randy” L. Yarbrough Sr. passed away with his family by his side on September 21, 2022, at the age of 66 years. He was born in West Palm Beach, Florida on September 17, 1956. His battle with medical issues in recent years showed his courage in facing life challenges with a smile. Despite everything, Randy came out a hero and stayed strong until the end.
Finding his calling for service early, Randy enlisted in the U.S. Army, serving as a Military Police Officer and Infantry Mortarman. He spent 21 years in the Army and retired in 2003. Randy was often involved with hobbies including leather work, auto-mechanics, and gardening. He loved God and Country.
Randy was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and best friend. He was a faithful man that put his faith fully in God. He was preceded in death by his parents Claudia and Charles Yarbrough. He is survived by his loving wife, Alice Jean Yarbrough; his son Randall Yarbrough Jr. and wife Georgina; his son Jason Yarbrough and wife Emily; his daughter Kaitlyn Yarbrough and three grandchildren, Kaylee Yarbrough, Jacob Ellerbe and Charles Yarbrough.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 28th from 6PM to 8PM at Crawford Bowers Funeral Home. A Graveside service will be held on Thursday,1:00 PM September 29, 2022 at Central Texas State Veterans Cemetery in Killeen, Texas. The family will receive family and friends at 4:00 PM at Cove Life Church, 1302 Pecan Cove DR, Copperas Cove, Texas.
