25 years ago I met Mr. Upp carrying his grandkid on his shoulders smiling from ear to ear as he did all the time to get his mail. A pretty good hike from his house. And my last memory of him was with his grandkid at the mailbox smiling from ear to ear just weeks ago. He had a great smile and it was never any bigger than when he was with his grandchildren. I will see you again my friend one day and maybe at that old mailbox again.....
