
He then chose Paris Jr. College in Texas because of its foreign student program and transferred to East Texas State College graduating with a Bachelors of Science in Business Administration and Geology.
In 1969 he returned to Iran with his wife and two children. He worked for Siemens International then Reading and Bates Drilling Company. In 1978 he returned to the United States and worked for St. Paul’s hospital. He became a United States Naturalized Citizen in December of 2001 after the deaths of both his parents. He then chose to pursue his long time hobby and passion of photography. He graduated from the New York Institute of Photography and earned a Hasselblad Masters semi-finalist award in 2008. He continued with his photography until his retirement.
He is survived by his wife of 61 years, one daughter, two sons, 9 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.
A Graveside Service will be held at Copperas Cove City Cemetery, on June 26, 2026, from 2:00 pm to 2:30 pm.
