Ronda Lee Vega

Ronda graduated from Copperas Cove High with the Class of 1991. She later received her Associate of Arts from Central Texas College in 2015.

On April 11, 1998 Ronda married the love of her life, Greg Vega in a beautiful ceremony at The Eastside Baptist Church in Copperas Cove, Texas.

Ronda was a giving person that always placed others’ needs before her own. Her family meant the most to her and she loved being around them, but she especially loved spending time with her children Sam and Aniessa. Simple things in life meant the most to Ronda and she enjoyed spending days on the lake, reading and scrapbooking. She also enjoyed baking, cooking, weight training, and running. Dancing gave Ronda great enjoyment as she was a member of the drill team and Copperettes in High School. She loved animals, especially her Fur baby Benny Buttons.

Ronda’s life was an inspiration to all and she will be deeply missed. A Celebration of Her Life will be held at 10:00 AM Tuesday, April 11, 2017 at Crawford-Bowers Funeral Home in Copperas Cove, per Ronda’s request wear colorful attire.

Ronda is survived by her devoted husband, Greg Vega of Copperas Cove; her children Samuel, Aniessa and Fur Baby Benny Buttons and her parents, Cindy and Ronald Graham all of Copperas Cove; three brothers, JR who is currently serving in the United States Marine Corp and his wife Sharon Graham stationed in Okinawa, Japan, Albert and his wife Nikki Graham and Shon Graham; four sisters, Desiree and her husband Robert Gilliland and their Fur babies Chewy and Shelby of Weatherford, TX, Marla DeLosSantos of Copperas Cove, Tania Sims of North Carolina, and Sharna and her husband Joe Herrod of Corpus Christi, Texas. Ronda is also survived by numerous in laws. Terry and his wife Peggy Autin, Kristin Autin and her fiancé Garrett Kiger. Michelle and her husband Louis Murchison and their children Donovan and Dallas. Sammy and his wife Lorraine Vega, Darryl and his wife Samantha Lawson, Butch and his wife Alisha Lawson and Tanya Lawson and her fiancé Jeff Corbitt. Ronda will be deeply missed by her best friend Sheri and Greg Stephens and her daughters Sadie and Abie. Ronda leaves numerous nieces and nephews to carry on her zest for life.
