Roseann Lucidi

Roseann was born to Anthony and Rose Marie Pesce in Amityville, NY on September 10th, 1952. She grew up with two siblings, Lorraine and Anthony, whom she cherished deeply. Roseann received her associates degree from Harriman College in 1972. In the same year Roseann met her future husband, Joseph, at a coed mixer while he was attending West Point. They later married in 1974 and as a proud army wife she traveled the United States and Germany with her husband.

In 1981 she moved to Texas where she would reside the rest of her life. In December of that year they became proud parents of their only child, Jennifer.

Roseann taught elementary school for many years, was the director at a local daycare, and then started a position at the Texas Workforce Commission, where she currently worked. In the 20 years she worked at TWC she developed many special lifelong friendships.

One of Roseann’s biggest joys in life were her two grandchildren, Jacob and Madison. She had a special relationship with them both that will be forever treasured.

Roseann was survived by her husband, Joseph Lucidi, daughter, Jennifer Hyslop, Son-in-Law, Kevin Hyslop, Grandchildren, Jacob and Madison, Sister, Lorraine Pesce, Brother, Anthony Pesce, Sister-in-law, Sherry Pesce, and two nephews, Anthony and Axl.

Roseann was an avid shopper, enjoyed dancing to her favorite 50’s music, and always lived life to the fullest. She loved fashion, jewelry, her puppies, Starbucks, and coffee ice cream.

Her untimely death will forever leave us brokenhearted but those who love her will always ensure her memory lives on.

Visitation for Roseann will be Tuesday the 6th of February from 5:00-8:00pm at Crawford Bowers Funeral Home in Copperas Cove, TX. Funeral services will be on Wednesday the 7th of February at 10:30am followed by a graveside service at the Central Texas State Veteran’s Cemetery at 12:00pm.
