Shane Aaron Tait

He was the beloved son of Gaylene and Alan (Hal) Tait and a cherished brother to Christopher Tait and Nathan Tait.

He was a 1997 graduate of Copperas Cove High School. Shane attended Central Texas College and McLennan Community College, and he was also proud to be an honorary fraternal brother of the Sigma Tau Gamma chapter at Baylor University.

Shane’s life was marked by quiet strength, a protective nature, and an unwavering loyalty to his family. He pursued his interests with passion and was always willing to lend a helping hand. His humor, presence, and ability to live in the moment left a lasting impression on all who knew him.

Shane’s absence leaves a profound void, but his legacy of love and loyalty lives on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him. May he rest in peace.

Shane will have A Celebration of Life at Crawford Bowers Funeral Home of Copperas Cove held on Saturday, June 21, 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM. Graveside Service will follow in the Copperas Cove City Cemetery.
