Shemeka Denise Johnson

Born November 3, 1993, in Fort Hood, Texas, she was the beloved daughter of Johnny and Claudia Johnson.

From a very young age, Shemeka Denise Johnson brought immense joy, light, and love into the lives of everyone she met. She had a sweet and kind spirit, always finding happiness in swimming, loved cooking with her father, and going shopping with her mother and daughter. She would always sacrifice her needs for the good of her family and would keep a smile even when times were tough. Though her smile is gone forever and her hand we cannot touch, we will still have so many memories of her. Her memory is now our keepsake, which we will never part. God has her in his keeping, and we have her in our hearts, sadly missed, but never forgotten. She is a 2012 graduate of Copperas Cove High School.

She is survived by her loving parents, Johnny and Claudia Johnson of Copperas Cove,TX; daughter Jaelynn Johnson of Copperas Cove, Texas; loving sister Lakesha Virginia Baringer of Copperas Cove, Texas; brother TSGT Kevin Lewis Johnson of RAF Lakenheath, England; grandparents Arthur and Edeltraud Baringer of Nurnberg, Germany; and Sarah R. Forth of Thomson, Georgia. And a host of uncles, aunties, cousins.
