Shirley was a bright light in the world and brought such joy to all who knew her. She was a loving and dedicated wife, mother, grandmother. Family was always first and she put her whole heart into everything she did. Shirley and Bob raised three daughters to be strong and independent women. She worked hard without complaint and nurtured her family both physically and emotionally. She instilled a love of reading that has passed down generations. With her creativity, she became an artist painting on canvas, sewing and quilting. She loved helping her community, especially through her work with the Baptist Benevolence Ministry where she volunteered for 28 years. Although she is no longer with us, we will continue to tell her story and pass on the incredible traits we have been blessed with for these 90 years.
