Stephen Edward Duncan

Sergeant First Class (Ret.) Stephen Edward Duncan, age 76, of Copperas Cove, Texas passed away on Wednesday, May 21, 2025. He was born on August 6, 1948 in Sneedville, Tennessee to parents James and Eugenia Duncan.

Stephen served in the United States Army for 24 years and retired as Sergeant First Class.

Stephen is preceded in death by his parents James and Eugenia Duncan from Hampton, Virginia; one sister Joyce Bolen from Hampton, Virginia; his son Richard Farar from Dalton, Georgia; and his brother in law Danny Grooms from Copperas Cove.

Stephen is survived by his wife, Rosemary Duncan of Copperas Cove; two daughters Barbara Harvin and Dani Tanner of Copperas Cove; five grandchildren Charles Farar and Noelle Harvin of Temple, Clifton Harvin and Wesley Johnson of Copperas Cove, and Asia Tanner of Copperas Cove, two nieces and two nephews and one great granddaughter.

A Visitation will be held at Crawford Bowers Funeral Home of Copperas Cove on June 9th 2025 from 6pm to 8pm. A Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday June 10th, 2025 beginning at 1pm at Crawford Bowers Funeral Home immediately followed by the Graveside Service at Central Texas State Veterans Cemetery in Killeen beginning at 3pm.
