Stephen Mariano Miranda

Stephen Miranda, age 38, of Copperas Cove, Texas passed away on Tuesday, September 9, 2025. Stephen was born on May 19, 1987 in Channelview, Texas to parents Nancy Jones and Richard Miranda, Sr. of Channelview, Texas.

After graduating from Lampasas High School, he went on to earn his HVAC Certification from Central Texas College in Killeen, Texas. Stephen worked alongside his stepfather, Kevin West, in the family business until his passing. He and his spouse, Brittney Mastin, were together for fifteen years. Stephen loved cheering for the Dallas Cowboys football team and going fishing, as well as spending time with extended family during cookouts and holiday gatherings.

Preceding him in death is his father, Richard Miranda, Sr.

Stephen is survived by his wife, Brittney Mastin; children Jorden Miranda, Destiny Mastin Good, Tyler Mastin-Ramirez, Kaylie Miranda, Ivy Miranda, Karma Miranda and Dallas Miranda; grandchildren Mia Johnson and Laylah Gardner; mother Nancy Speer (Kevin West); brothers Richard Miranda, Jr., Michael Miranda, and Jason Brown (Emily); sisters Brenda Rodriguez (Carlos), Elizabeth Pena (Rey), and Victoria Rivera (Joseph), stepsisters Britten Will and Margie White; along with many nieces and nephews.

The family will receive visitors and share memories on Saturday, September 27, 2025 between 2pm and 4pm at a casual gathering held at Crawford Bowers Funeral Home of Copperas Cove, Texas.
