Services for Tommie L. Nipper, 82, of Copperas Cove will be Tuesday, January 31, 2012 at Holy Family Catholic Church in Copperas Cove at 10 AM followed by burial at Copperas Cove Cemetery.
Mr. Nipper passed in Temple, TX on January 27, 2012.
He served in the Army 21 years until his retirement in 1972. Tommie was an avid hunter and fisherman and enjoyed spending time with his family and grandchildren.
Mr. Nipper born of Lee and Gertha Nipper was preceded in death by his first wife Rose Nipper of 32 years in 1986. He is survived by his second wife Joyce Gomez-Nipper of 24 years. Survivors also include his children Thomas P. Nipper of Morgan’s Point, TX, Lynn Pellegrino-Sawyer of Harker Heights, TX, Joseph Piazza of Cleveland, TX, Erica Billian of Copperas Cove, TX, sister Norma Taylor, five grandchildren, five great grandchildren and extended family.
Rosary will be Monday January 30, 2012 at 6 PM followed by visitation at Crawford Bowers Funeral Home in Copperas Cove.
