He was born on his birthday in Ashland, Ohio, to Lewis and June Newcomer.
Willard proudly served his country in the United States Army, serving during the Vietnam and Desert Storm eras and completing 20 years of distinguished service. He was a sucker for Harley-Davidson motorcycles, which eventually led him to volunteer at the local Harley shop—mostly because it came with some pretty good discounts.
He was a loving father, grandfather, and great-grandfather who will be deeply missed by those who knew and loved him.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Lewis and June Newcomer; his brother, Gary Newcomer; his son, Mark Newcomer; and his great-grandson, Brayden Storm.
He is survived by his wife, AKA his ball and chain, Debbie Beck; his children, Mike (Phil) Newcomer, Dranston (Debra) Newcomer, Amber (Jonathan) Fadeyi, Kristen Forbes, and Cathy (Mark) DeLeon; his grandchildren, Matthew, Stephanie, Jazmyne, Ayshia, Clane, Justin, Loretta, Abiola, Oludara, and Olukemi; 10 great-grandchildren; and many other loved ones, including Jennifer, Ben, Aidyn, Skylar, and Tempe.
