Funeral services for Arnet Franklin Barnes 81 are set for 2:00 P.M. Sunday at Memorial Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Bill Wages and Bro. Jackie Suggs officiating. Burial with military honors will be in the Oak Grove Cemetery in Chewella, TN.
Mr. Barnes died November 8, 2013 at his residence. He was born March 11, 1932 in McNairy Co to the late Clifford and Lola Mae Barnes. He was a retired scrap metal dealer owning Barnes Scrap Metal, was a member of the West Corinth Baptist Church. Served in the US Army during the Korean Conflict, also a 32 degree Mason and a Shriner. He enjoyed quail hunting, mowing his yard and spending time with his family.
Preceded in death by his parents, brothers J.R., Melzar, Grady, Shorty, J.B. Barnes Sister Cedailua Taylor
Survived by his wife Treva Suggs Barnes of Corinth, MS. son Pat Barnes his wife Christy of Corinth, MS. daughters Lola Barnes her fiancé Steve Wilson of Fremont, CA. Kim Bishop her husband Terry of Starkville, MS. Kelly Phillips her husband John of Herando, MS. grandchildren Leigh (Berry) Parker, Chassey (Creighton) Nelms, Shelbi Barnes, Lauren and Olivia Phillips, step grandchildren Jacob and Alyssa Bishop, great grandchildren Preston and Nate Ramsey. Host of other family and friends.

Family will receive friends from 5 to 8 Saturday and Sunday from 1 to service time.
