Betty McDowell Glidewell

Funeral service for Betty Sue McDowell Glidewell 72, are set for 1:00 P.M. Wednesday at Memorial Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Jimmy Vanderford officiating. Burial will be in Forrest Memorial Park.

She died May 17, 2010 at Magnolia Regional Health Center. She was born April 4, 1938 in Prentiss Co. MS. to the late John and Lucille Bearden She was retired from ITT after 28 years and Walmart as a supervisor. Member of Shady Grove Baptist Mission, she enjoyed Traveling, cars, races, fishing and spending time with her grandchildren.

Preceded in death by her husband Jimmy Wayne McDowell, Parents, Sister Virginia Ashmore, Brother J.D. Bearden.

Survivived by her husband Allen Glidewell., Sons Steve McDowell, Shane McDowell, Scotty McDowell all of Corinth, MS. Brothers Harold Bearden (Lola) of Corinth, MS., Carroll Bearden (Nancy) of Pickwick, TN., Vann Bearden (Eloise) of Booneville, MS. Sisters Joyce Nichols of Guys, TN, Shirley Johnson of Corinth, MS. Grandchildren Dalton Mcdowell, Candler McDowell, Austin Blake McDowell.

Pallbearers Billy Bass, Mike Mattox, Dallas Moss, Joe Nichols, Mike Nichols, Ricky Parvin. Honoary pallbearers Rodney Hardin, Darrell Jordan.

Visiaition Tuesday 5:00 to 9:00 P.M. and Wednesday 11:00 to service time.
