Billy Wayne Latch

Funeral service for Billy Wayne Latch will be at 12:00 pm on Wednesday, September 2, 2026 at Memorial Funeral Home with burial to follow at Corinth National Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 10am until service time at the funeral home.

Billy passed away on August 29, 2026 at Tishomingo Community Living Center in Iuka. He was born on March 7, 1936 to the late Stanley and Dorothy Latch. From 1954 until 1957, Billy honorably served this country in the United States Air Force. On March 31, 1962 Billy married his wife, Bernice and they celebrated 58 wonderful years together until her passing in 2020. They were members at Wheeler Grove Baptist Church. He worked at Quebecor and retired after 20 years of service. In his spare time, he enjoyed gardening, fishing, and turkey hunting.

In addition to his parents, Billy was preceded in death by his wife, Bernice Latch; brother, Bruce Latch; and sister, Mary Ruth Benjamin.

Billy is survived by his sons, Steven Wade Latch and Patrick Wayne Latch; brother, Buddy Latch; sisters, Norma Ann Bevier, Linda Cronin, Darlene Block, and Sarah Singo; special nephew, Jes Patrick; and host of other nieces, nephews and other family and friends.

Pallbearers include Brad Patrick, Jes Patrick, Rickey Hinds, and Lamar Latch.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Billy's honor to St. Jude Children's Hospital.
