Cecil W. Phillips

Cecil died on August 25, 2016 at his residence in Glen. He was born on August 29, 1945 to the late Cecil Wylie and Rosetta Phillips. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and a member of American Legion, Eastern Star, and the Masons. He retired from Intex Plastics having worked there for over 30 years and then he spent 5 years working for the Alcorn School District. He attended Victory Baptist Church and enjoyed being with his family and friends.

Cecil was preceded in death by his parents, Cecil Wylie and Rosetta Phillips.

He is survived by his loving wife of 42 years, Becky Phillips; son, Simmie Phillips; daughter, Sandy Phillips Murray (Brian Belue) his granddaughter, Jaycee Murray and brother in law, Steven Roten and his wife Jennifer and daughter Hadley. He also leaves behind a host of other family and close friends.

Honorary pallbearers will be his former co-workers at Intex Plastics.
