Charles H. Vanderford, 74, died Saturday, September 18, 2010 at his residence after a brief illness. Mr. Vanderford attended Oakhill Christian Church and was self employed as a logger. He loved the outdoors. He was well know for his Sharp's Bottom watermelons and tomatos. He enjoyed hunting and fishing.
Funeral services will be Monday, September 20, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. at McPeters Inc. Funeral Directors Chapel with Bro. Tim Dixon and Bro. Frank Williams officiating. Burial will be in the Pisgah Cemetery. Visitation will be Sunday, September 19, 2010 from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
