Celebration of Life service for Christine Nash Greening, 91, are set for 3:00 pm Friday at McPeters Funeral Home with Bro. Trey Lambert officiating. Burial will be in Henry Cemetery.

Ms. Greening died Tuesday, January 14, 2020 at her residence. She was a member of Gaines Chapel United Methodist Church, a member of the Wesley Circle, a 1946 graduate of Corinth High School and a member of the Cross City Quilters. She was employed from 1954 to 1988 as an interviewer for the Mississippi Employment Service. She enjoyed sewing, working at her church and quilting.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Hugh Greening; parents, Hardy and Ella Cupples Nash; sister, Jean Fuqua; brothers, Clyde Nash and Mac Nash.

She is survived by her son, Andy Greening of Corinth; daughters, Sue Greening of Ridgeland, MS.; Dale Greening, Gale Greening of Corinth; granddaughter, Callie (Alex) Littlejohn of Madison, MS and great-grandson, Hudson Littlejohn.

Visitation will be held tonight from 5:00 to 8:00 pm and Friday 2:00 to 3:00 pm at McPeters Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Gaines Chapel United Methodist Church 1803 Hwy. 72 W Corinth, MS 38834.

Pallbearers will be Dan Glidewell, Mike Lewis, Mike Grier, Jimmy Thompson, Jimmy Purvis and Thomas Coleman. Honorary pallbearers will be the Lon Cleveland Sunday Class.

Fond memories of Miss Christine's packing eight sixth-grade girls into her car and hauling us to West Corinth Elementary ball games. Don't know how she survived the loud radio and our singing.
