

A service to celebrate the life of Cynthia "Cyndi" Mitchell, 60, will be held at 2:00 PM Friday at Memorial Funeral Home with burial to follow in Indian Creek Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 12:00 PM until service time. Bro. James Voyles will officiate the services.
Cyndi passed away on August 10th, 2026 at North Mississippi Medical Center in Iuka. She was born on April 7th, 1966 to the late Leon Clausel and Joyce Vandiver Taylor. She attended Corinth High School. She worked as the cook at Taylor's Escape; she was well known for her good cooking. Cyndi enjoyed taking care of her dogs, and her plants. She loved to watch tennis on television. Her true joy and happiness came from being a mother and a grandmother.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Ellis and Jewel Moore; and brothers, Lanning "Sparky" Butler and William "Billy" Butler.
She is survived by her husband of 30 years, Philip Mitchell; son, Taylor Mitchell; daughters, Cassondra Armstrong (Cody) and Jessica Rhoads; grandchildren, Avynn Armstrong, Nicholas "Darby" Vandiver, Bellecia "Michelle" Gilmore, Averionna "Cadence" Lesuve (Vandiver), Aurora "Marlee" Rhoads and Aviona "Sparkles" Rhoads; brother, Matthew "Corky" Butler; cousin, Catrina Smith; best friend, Gloria Johnson; and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.
Pallbearers will be Blake Null, Joe Soto, LaDavion "Terrell" Clayborn, Steven Mitchell, Gene Mitchell and Timmy Mitchell.
