Darien was my best friend. And In a way, we saw each other as brothers. His charming personality and spontaneous sense of humor is part of what I really liked about him. He was very caring, and was always around when I needed a friend. I miss him a lot, and I'm glad I was fortunate enough to have him as a part of my life.

Man.. words cannot begin to explain how this hurts.. we rode the bus everyday together, and he was such a great friend.. always laughing, smiling, cracking everybody up.. I wish I would have spoken to him more after I moved.. RIP Darien.. you will be missed, dude.. deepest condolences..

He was my sons first friend when we moved here from michigan. He was a great kid and would have been an outstanding adult. He will be greatly missed. Sorry for your loss. Joshua Burd and family

Darien was an amazing person. I've known him since elementary school. He rode my bus almost every day, and he was always laughing and he kept Jasmine happy. He was a great guy, and he will be missed. My heart goes out to his family, and Jasmine.
