Mr. Dixon died May 25, 2017 at Magnolia Regional Health Center. He was an automotive body repairman.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Orlando and Lovie Nelson Dixon and his son, David Dixon, Jr.
He is survived by his wife, Margaret Scroggins Dixon; sons, Pat Dixon, Gary Dixon, Jimmy Dixon, Robert Brunner; sister, Lila Faye Holmes; brothers, Harry Dixon, Junior Dixon and R. L. Dixon and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
