

A Celebration of Life for Sandra Diane Coleman, 76, will be held at Tishomingo Chapel Baptist Church at 3pm Sunday, January 21, 2024 followed by interment at Shiloh Cumberland Presbyterian Church Cemetery. Visitation will be 11 am until service time on Sunday.
Mrs. Coleman passed away on her birthday, Friday, January 19, 2024, surrounded by her family. She was born January 19, 1948, in Alcorn County to Elbert and Mae Mitchell. She was a graduate of Kossuth High School. Mrs. Coleman was a member of Shiloh Cumberland Presbyterian Church. She and her late husband Norbert enjoyed attending worship services and fellowship with Tishomingo Chapel Baptist Church and West Corinth Pentecostal Tabernacle when possible.Mrs. Coleman loved her family dearly. She was so proud of their accomplishments and their support of each other. She especially adored her granddaughter, Eryn, and they shared a bond like no other. Mrs. Coleman enjoyed cooking and was known for her pound cakes and beef noodle casserole.
Survivors include her son, Brian Coleman (Leigh Whitten); daughter and son-in-law, Sandy and Billy Mitchell; granddaughter and husband, Eryn and Carington Walls; great-grandson Coleman Bailey Walls; brother, James Gary Mitchell and wife Divina; special caregivers, Audrey Mercer Crum and Edna Glover; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 51 years, Norbert Coleman; her parents Elbert and Mae Mitchell; her father-in-law and mother-in-law Ronel and Dimple Coleman; brothers-in-law Ralph Coleman, Dennis Coleman, and Steve Lambert; sisters-in-law Linda Mitchell, Sue Coleman, and Linda Maude Lambert; and nephew Kevin Coleman.
Pallbearers are Shawn Coleman, Scott Coleman, Keith Coleman, Joe Coleman, Walter Hill Coleman, Jesse Patrick, and Jeff Thornton.
