Edward Harold Tucker

Harold Tucker, age 80 died Tuesday, August 10, 2011, at his residence in Burnsville, Mississippi. Services for Harold Tucker will be Friday, August 12, 2011, 1:00 P.M. at McPeters Funeral Home Chapel with burial in the Sardis Cemetery. Rev. Brandon Powell will officiate. Visitation will be Thursday, August 11, 2011, 5:00 until 8:00 P.M. at McPeters Funeral Home.

He was a retired self employed Welder, and a member of Kemps Chapel.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Edard Tucker, and Mabel & Eli Glidwell; three sons, Charles Tucker, Robert Harold Tucker, and Roger Dale Tucker; one sister, Opal Burcham; mother and father- in- law, Charlie & Emma Newcomb.

Survivors include; his wife of 62 years Velma Newcomb Tuckera; son, Travis Tucker of Booneville, MS; two daughters, Nancy Harris and husband Al of Corinth, MS, and Kathy Burkiens of Burnsville; a brother, Bobby Glidwell and wife Ann of Corinth, MS; a sister, Helen Owen of Corinth, MS; two grandchildren, Erick Tucker and wife Jessica, and Farris “Bucky” Morris

Pallbearers: James Little, Charlie Crum, Benjamin South, and Ray South.
