Eva Thrasher

Mrs. Thrasher passed away on August 2, 2026 aty her daughters residence. She was born in Corint on September 26, 1937 to the late Peter and Lucille Linsey Brock. She worked for 30 plus years at the hosiery mill until she became a homemaker. She was a member of New Life Mission Church in Tippah County. She loved cooking, canning and traveling to see different places around the country.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William Mitchell Thrasher; son, William Keith Thrasher; daughter, Sandra Regay Thrasher; brothers, Jimmy Dale and Aaron Brock; and a son in law, Michael Dewayne Miller.

She is survived by her daughter, Melissa Ann Miller; sons, Dewayne Thrasher (Tammie) and Timothy Lee Thrasher (Debra Jean); grandchildren, Zach Thrasher, Leshea Thrasher, Richard Palmer, Amber Taylors, Leighton Kline, Courtney Decanter, Tanisha Keller, Ethan Thrasher, Tiffany Thrasher, Tabitha Haley, James Shelton, Timothy Shelton, and Eric Palmer; 22 great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.

Pallbearers will be Jamie Richardson, James Shelton, Timmy Shelton, Michael Blanton, Timmy Blanton, Tanisha Keller, Eric Palmer, Christopher Voyles, Andrew Smith and Austin Smith.
