Frank Barnes

A Funeral Service for Frank W. Barnes, 72, is set for 2:00 pm Saturday at Oak Hill Christian Church with Bro. Frank Williams officiating. Burial will follow in the Oak Hill Christian Church Cemetery. Family will receive friends Friday from 5:00 to 8:00 and Saturday 1:00 to service time.

Frank died September 29, 2021 at NMMC in Tupelo, MS. He was born May 15, 1949 in Iuka, MS to the late Jack and Ollie Barnes. He was of the Baptist faith and a machinist for Tyrone. He was also a member of Burnsville Masonic Lodge #233.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Clara Barnes; daughter, Amanda McCaughy; brothers, Ira Barnes, Dude Barnes, J B Barrens, Charlie Barnes, Carves Lovelace, Nathan Lovelace, Doyle Lovelace, David Lovelace and Avon Lovelace; and sisters, Ruth Barnes, Molly Bray, Pean Moorhead, and Dee South.

He is survived by his son, Tim Barnes; granddaughter, Katlin McCaughy; and a host of other family and friends.
