Geneva Spears

Mrs. Spears passed away on Saturday, March 28, 2026 at Magnolia Regional Health Center. She was born in the Hinkle community on November 2, 1940 to the late Floss George and Pauline Hutcheson Mason. She was a devoted mother, grandmother and great-grandmother to her family. She was an excellent cook, cooking often for her family. She worked for Refreshments, Inc. in her younger years, but was a homemaker. She volunteered as a Girl Scout leader and helped with the Cub Scouts. She attended North Corinth Baptist Church. She enjoyed playing Rook and Yahtzee. She also enjoyed going to the casinos in Tunica.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Willard Spears; sons, Johnnie Spears and Louis Spears; grandchildren, Ashley Jones, Michelle Hymel, Bobby Dunn, Jr. and Billy Dunn; sisters, Retha Cosby, Edna Smith and Mattie Mason; brothers, William Mason, George Mason and Gene Mason; daughter-in-laws, Crystal Spears and Sherry Spears; and son-in-law, Bobby Dunn, Sr.

She is survived by her daughters, Paulette Dunn and Bonnie Gilmore (Michael); grandchildren, Natalie Gilmore, Corey Gilmore (Leslie), Jacob Gilmore (Kaitlyn), Willy Dunn (Stephanie), Heather Jackson (Merce), John Spears, Brittany Berry (Stephen), Ethan Spears (Kinley), Jayda Spears (Isaiah), Kailynn Spears, Roxanne Kee (Jimmy), Brad Jones (Kayla), Brandon Jones, John Jones (Kaitlyn) and Joe Jones; 30 plus great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.

Bro. Ray Hinton will officiate the service.
