Ida Faye Palmer

A service to celebrate the life of Ida Faye Palmer, 84, will be held Tuesday at 1:00 pm at Memorial Funeral Home with burial to follow in Henry Cemetery. Visitation will be from 11:30 am until service time. Bro. Mickey Trammel will officiate the services.

Faye passed away on December 2, 2023 at her residence. She was born in Alcorn County on October 30, 1939 to the late Willie and Ruthie Mullins Hively. She was a graduate of Kossuth High School and retired from Kimberly Clark. She was a member of Tate Baptist Church. She loved to take care of her flowers and keep her yard looking beautiful.

She is survived by her daughter, Debbie Thigpen (Dennis) of Killen, AL; sister-in-law, Sue Hively; nieces and nephews, Nick Hively (Pat), Tammy Jungiewicz, Keith Hively (Lisa), Paula Grimes (Chris), Julie Hatfield, Carol Brawner, Kenny Lynn Hively and Paul Moore (Tootles).

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Robert Kendrick Palmer; and brothers, Bill, Kenneth and Jodie Hively.

The family would like to thank everyone for their calls, visits, food and prayers given during this time. A special thank you to her caregivers, Barbara Hearn and Linda Bobo.
