He was preceded in death by son James (Jimmy) Essary Jr., brothers Jay and Norbin Essary, sister Clyte Morrow.

Wayne Kirk of Collierville, TN, Donna Myrick of Eads, Michele Thomas of Lafayette, IN., Kim Essary Wylie of Smithville, MS. Sisters Eva Sue McCreary and Kathy Huff both of Corinth, MS. Brothers Bobby Joe Essary of Corinth, MS. Benny ( Carolyn) Essary of Crownsville, TN. 14 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.
