A Celebration of life service for James Lin Irvin, 60, will be held Wednesday at 11:00 a.m. at Memorial Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. James Voyles officiating.

Visitation will be held Tuesday from 5:00 to 8:00 pm at Memorial Funeral Home.

James died Monday, December 4, 2017 at this residence.

He was a man with many friends who will be greatly missed and he enjoyed working on cars and driving buses.

He was preceded in death by his parents; James L. Irvin and Sue Laverneur Wooley Fowler and a brother; Michael Wayne Irvin.

He is survived by his sisters; Rhonnda Hall of Corinth and Barbara Sue Cagle of Memphis, Tn.

James was one of the kindest men l've ever known. My fondest memory was when my son Chad turned 16 ,James showed up in his Corvette to get Chad so he could drive his car. It was a day my son never forgot ,and neither did I. I will miss you .
