James "Jimmy" Harold Johnson, Jr.

Funeral Services Celebrating the Life of James Harold "Jimmy" Johnson, Jr. will be 4pm on Friday June 19, 2026 at Memorial Funeral Home with interment to follow at Henry Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2pm until service time at the funeral home.

Jimmy passed away on June 11, 2026 at North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo. He was born on January 18, 1964 to the late James Harold Johnson, Sr. and Martha Johnson. As an electrician, Jimmy worked with the IBEW for 38 years.

Jimmy was known for his warm spirit and vibrant personality. He had a unique ability to connect with everyone he met. He was always eager to share a story about anyone he knew. Jimmy also enjoyed collecting antique items, playing with his dog, Penny, and spending time with his friends.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Hugh Blackman.

Jimmy is survived by his son, Trace Johnson; sisters, Susan Ross (Paul) and Alice McIntire; brother, George Johnson; and a host of other family and friends.
