James Larry Wren, 76, passed away on May 21, 2024 at his residence in Ramer, TN. He was born on October 22, 1947 in McNairy County to the late J.L. and Laverne Bass Wren. He worked in sales during his career before retiring. He was currently the oldest living member of Chewalla Baptist Church. Larry loved sports, fishing and was an avid fan of University of Tennessee and St. Louis Cardinals. He loved being with his family, especially his grandchildren.
Larry is survived by his wife of almost 24 years, Shirley Wren; daughter, Tammy Spencer; step-son, Cedrick McCormack (Donna); grandchildren; Addie Spencer, Will McCormack and Kate McCormack; and a great-grandchild, Maylee Spencer.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Steve Wren.
