Janice Patrika Gilmore Mitchell

Funeral services for Janice Patrika Gilmore - Mitchell are set for 2:00 PM Monday, July 27, 2014 at the Gospel Tabernacle with Jerry Tyson and Bro. Josh Hodum officiating. Burial will be in the Lone Oak Cemetery.

Janice died on July 25 at her residence. She was born in Corinth, Mississippi on August 1, 1955 to Betty Arnold-Gilmore and the late Carrol Gilmore. She loved cooking, studying the Bible, being outdoors, and spending time with her family. She attended church at Gospel Tabernacle.

Along with her father, she was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Wid and Nora Gilmore; maternal grandparents, Vard and Gladys Arnold; and a brother-in-law, Hank Worsham.

Survivors include: her son, Bobby Mitchell; her daughter, Trika Smith and husband Ricky; her mother, Betty Gilmore. Siblings include: Lisa Hastings and husband Kenny, Debbie Worsham, Greg Gilmore and wife Vickie, and Joey Gilmore and wife Barbie. Grandchildren include: Chloe and Levi Mitchell, Shayla and Rosley Smith. As well as several nieces, nephews, and a host of friends.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, July the 26th from 5:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. and from noon till service time on Monday.
