

Died March 4, 2012 at Magnolia Regional Health Center. She was born July 16, 1932 in Alabama to the late Cecil and Myrthea Jenkins. Joyce worked for years as a payroll paralegal at Continental Gin in Birmingham, Al. she also was a dedicated volunteer at King’s Daughters School in Columbia, TN., she was a 2 year old pre-school teacher for many years at Germantown First United Methodist Church. Joyce was an avid bridge player and thoroughly enjoyed being with her friends, Joyce has always been an active member in her church and school activities. She loved music and always sang in the church choir as long as her health permitted. Joyce and Bill moved to Corinth in 2008 to be near family and friends. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church of Corinth, MS. Joyce greatly enjoyed the fellowship of “Sharing Hearts’ at First Baptist Church.

Survived by her husband of 52 years Bill Napier of Corinth, MS. Son Billy Napier his wife Beverly of Corinth, MS., daughter Betty Napier Robbins her husband James of Cumming, GA. Brother Charles Jenkins of Palatka, Fl., and Sisters Ginger Hammond of Appleton, WI. Margaret Walker of Birmingham, Al. Grandchildren Will and Brenley Napier, Allie, Haden and Lydia Robbins.
Graveside service will be 2:00 Wednesday at Henry Cemetery with the Rev. Don Elliott officiating.
Visitation is Wednesday 12:00 to 1:30 at McPeters Inc. Funeral Directors.
