Juanita Ernestine Crum

Services to celebrate the life of Ernestine Crum, 81, are scheduled for 2:00 p.m. Wednesday at McPeters Funeral Directors with burial to follow in the Henry Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday evening from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. and Wednesday from 10:00 a.m. until service time at 2:00 p.m. Mrs. Crum died on October 13, 2018 at Magnolia Regional Health Center. She was born on June 27, 1937 in Alcorn County to the late James Ernest and Carrie Lee Tigner Odom. She was a former employee with ITT and a homemaker. She was a longtime member of North Corinth Baptist Church. She was known to be a great cook, enjoyed playing cards, enjoying her time with her family and church family. She is survived by her daughter, Sherry Crum of Corinth; grandchildren, Tommy Crum (Tina) of Hornsby, TN; Samantha Crum and Stephanie Crum of New Mexico; Brandon Crum (Samantha) of Gulfport; special nephew, Tony White (Tabitha); sister-in-law, Edith Ruth Odom of Joliette, IL, 9 great-grandchildren and a host of other nieces, nephews, family and friends. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Verner Lee Crum; son, Dwight Crum; brothers, James William Odom, Junior Edward White, Hairel White; sister-in-law, Betty White and brother-in-law, R.G. Crum and wife Lonette. Pallbearers will be: Nick Crum, David Coln, David Derrick, Bryan White, Trey White and Danny Shook. Honorary pallbearers will be: Charles Heavener and Frank Wilbanks. Bro.
