Funeral service for Katherine Lamberth Miller, 86, are scheduled for Tuesday at 11:00 a.m. at Pleasant Hill United Methodist Church with burial to follow in the Pleasant Hill Church Cemetery.

Visitation will be Monday evening from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at McPeters Funeral Home.

Mrs. Miller died on May 11, 2019 at her residence. She was born on December 31, 1932 to the late Clarence E. and Julia Grace Walker Lamberth. She graduated from Alcorn Agriculture High School and was a longtime member at Pleasant Hill United Methodist Church. Before her retirement she did clerical work at Magnolia Hospital. She enjoyed sewing but most importantly she loved her church and church family.

She is survived by her husband, James Leroy Miller; children, Karen Miller Settlemires; Keith Miller (Wanda) and David Miller (Ellen); grandchildren, Marty Ray Settlemires (Brandy), Bradley Thomas Settlemires (Nicole), Jason Miller (Jessica), Matthew Miller (Kristen), Blake Miller (Ashley), Grace Miller Scruggs (Tyler); and 18 great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her brothers Edwin Lamberth, James Lamberth, and Wayne Lamberth; sisters, Nadine Parker, Marie Phillips, and Ruby Mae Harrison and a son-in-law, Ray Settlemires.

Pallbearers will be Marty Settlemires, Brad Settlemires, Blake Miller, Matthew Miller, McCoy Phillips and Maxey Phillips.

Rev. Rick Bell and Maxey Phillips will officiate the services.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made in honor of Mrs. Katherine Miller to Pleasant Hill United Methodist Church in care of Serita Redding, 191 County Road 522 Corinth, MS 38834.
