Celebration of Life for Kathryn Aldridge Sewell 83 is set for 2:00 p.m. Tuesday at McPeters Inc. Funeral Directors Chapel with Bro. Dennis Smith officiating. Burial be in the Union Baptist Church Cemetery.
Kathryn died September 8, 2016 at MS Care Center. She was born April 9, 1933 in Kossuth, MS. to the late John William Aldridge and Vanice Gurley Aldridge. She is a member of First Baptist Church, was a former real estate broker in TX. For the past several years she was a member of United Daughter of the Confederacy, having served as Past-Pres. of the State of MS Chapter and the local chapter in Corinth.
She was preceded in death by her husband who died June 10, 2016 William "Bert' Sewell and parents.
She is survived by her son Joel (Sarah) Sewell of Santa Anna, CA. daughter Kelly (Steve) Sowmick of MI.; grandchildren Elise Calvillo, Christopher Miller, Tristian Sowmcik. Host of other family and friends.
Family will receive friends Tuesday from 12:00 to service time
