Lawrence "Buck" Tennyson

Lawrence “Buck” Tennyson was born March 17, 1933 in Selmer, TN to the late Sherman and Nannie Tennyson. Buck died July 13, 2026 in Park Falls, WI. He and his wife lived in Florence, AL until the death of Patricia, who died February 10, 2025. He then moved to Park Falls to be close to his family.

Buck was a member of Oakdale Missionary Baptist Church in Florence. He was a retired inspector for Sony Corp. and was a US Army veteran. Over the years, he enjoyed traveling, the outdoors and spending time with his family.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Patricia Tennyson; parents; his brothers, Charles “Chuck’ Tennyson and Everett Tennyson; and sisters, Verdie Scarbrough and Bettye Sue Ray.

He is survived by his children, Laura Tennyson, David Brian Shuck (Carol), Lori Ann Brown, and Lisa Marie Brandt (Jim); and fifteen grandchildren, several great-grandchildren; and a host of extended family and friends.

A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be 2:00 pm Sunday, September 20, 2026 at Oakdale Missionary Baptist Church with family and friend gathering from 1:00 pm to service time.

A Graveside Service with Military Honors will be held 11:00am on Monday at Corinth National Cemetery.
