Services to celebrate the life of Lillian Smith Sanders, 99, are scheduled for Monday at 3:00 PM at The Gospel Tabernacle with burial to follow in Henry Cemetery.
Visitation will be Monday from 12 noon until service time at the church.
Mrs. Sanders died on May 9, 2019 at Mississippi Care Center. She was born on January 4, 1920 in Healdton, OK to the late Luther Marcus and Leona Butler Smith. She was a member of The Gospel Tabernacle. She enjoyed playing bingo, guitar and walking.
She is survived by her daughters, Lillian Cutshall (Bill) and Peggy Pryor; special grandson, Mike Wallace (Laura); son in law, Bill Wallace (Bonnie); special niece, Cathy Riley and son in law James Burcham (Sue).
She was preceded in death by her parents Luther and Leona Smith; step-mother, Kate Hayes Smith; husband, Robert Sanders; daughters, Kay Harlann Swain and Brenda Joyce Burcham, sister, Thelma Suitor and a grand-daughter in law, Teretha Wallace.
Rev. Josh Hodum will officiate the service.

My dear sweet Mamaw you brought so much Joy to my life. I am so glad I got to know you. Even though you wasn't my real Grandmaw i still loved you like you was. I am gonna miss you so much. But i know you are in a better place now. I know i will see you again one day. You just rest easy now with no more pain. You was such a sweet lady i love and miss you so much. RIP Mamaw Lillian. I love you.

I love you my sweet Aunt Pauline. You know that your big sister Thelma (my precious Mama) loved you so much. I know she and my special cousin Joyce (your daughter) met you and led you to the feet of Jesus. What a wonderful reunion yall are having in Heaven. I want to thank this wonder family for letting my clam this wonderful women as my grandmother. She was sweet and very kind. She told me a lot of story. When Tammy Schmitz told me she passed I dropped down a cried. I can't believe your gone mawmaw you have held up through so much. You were very strong could handle anything. I just want you to know you are missed by a lot of people. I think you are the ot one I knew. Rest easy mawmaw. R.I.P.😭😭
