Margaret Ann Austin

Ms. Austin passed from this life on Sunday, February 28, 2010 at the Magnolia Regional Health Center. She was born on February 21, 1940 to the late Virgil and Lynna Dickinson Davis. She was 70 at the time of her death and during her life she enjoyed playing with her grand and great-grandchildren, loved her job at Whitfield Nursing Home where she got to work with the elderly, enjoyed the outdoors, and attending church at North Corinth Baptist where she was a member.

Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husbands, Jimmy Donald Gilmore and David K. Austin; and one brother, Robby Archie Davis.

She is survived by her son, Michael Gilmore and his wife Bonnie; two daughters, Angelia Bobo and her husband Randy, and Annette Austin Smith; three sisters Shirley Glidewell and her husband Bobby, Dottie Briggs and her husband Douglas, and Linda Ward and her husband Lee; eight grandchildren, Tabitha Wegmann and her husband Tom, Miranda Latch and her husband Keith, Natalie Gilmore and her fiancé Chad, Corey and Jacob Gilmore, April Geer and her husband Tony, Jody Smith and Josh Steen; 10 great-grandchildren, Tucker and Trace Wegmann, Maryn Latch, Colby Harris, Zackory Cole, Lucy and Lacey Geer, Brett Calvery, and Blain and Blake Geer; and a host of friends.

Visitation will be on Tuesday March 2 from 5:00 P.M. till 9:00 P.M. and from 9:00 A.M. till service time on Wednesday.
