Margaret Markle

Funeral services for Margaret Holloway Markle, 85, of Corinth, are set for 2:00 P.M. Monday, November 22, 2010 at Memorial Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Charlie Martin and Bro. Mickey Trammel officiating.

Burial will be in the Forrest Memorial Park.

Mrs. Markle died Friday, November 19, 2010, at Magnolia Regional Health Center. She was born January 18, 1925 to the late Clifton "Tip" and Mary Holloway. She was a retired garment factory worker and was a longtime member of Tate Baptist Church before moving her membership to Lakeview Baptist Church.

Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Grady Markle; two sisters Shirley South and Elizabeth Rorie; and one brother, Alfred Holloway.

Survivors include her son Charles Markle and his wife Peggy of Corinth; a daughter, Sue Burks of Fayette, Ala.; a sister, Minnie Mae Adams of Corinth; grandchildren Jason Burks, Stacy Burks, Shannon Markle, Shang Markle and Rhonda Carstensen; and 12 great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be Sunday, November 21st from 6:00 P.M. till 8:00 P.M. and from noon till service time on Monday.
