Mark Mitchell Sampson Sr.

Funeral services for Mark Mitchell Sampson Sr.84 are set for 1:00 P.M. Friday at Memorial Funeral Home Chapel with Jerry Childs officiating. Burial with Military Honors will follow in the Pleasant Hill Methodist Church Cemetery

Mr. Sampson died May 5, 2014 at Union County Health and Rehab, He was born June 20, 1930 in North Carolina to the late Newton and Vilolina Sampson. He served in the US Army during the Korean Conflict and was retired from ITT.

Preceded in death by his parents, sons Jimmy and Mark Sampson Jr. brothers Stenson, David, Grady and Ervin Sampson, sisters Betty Mancini and Patricia Milesko.

Survived by his sons Kenny (Gale) Strickland of Pembroke, N.C. , Greg (Angela) Sampson of New Albany, MS., brothers James and Henry Sampson, sisters Minnie Holmes, Ancie Dale McDowell, Monnie Gray, Lillian Grashan, grandchildren Whitney and Brittany Little, Josh and Jenna Sampson, Loren Manning, Emily Nichols, Andrea Fancher, Ricky Rivers, and a great grandchild.

Family will receive friends from 11:00 to service time Friday

Arrangements under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home, Corinth, Mississippi.
