

Mrs. Browning died October 16, 2015 at her home with family at her side. She was born September 22, 1926 to the late John Andrew Williams and Mamie Averilla Holt Williams of Iuka. She graduated from Clinton Louisiana High School. A 20-year resident of Corinth, she was active in the First United Methodist Church and was a volunteer to several organizations including, the Kosciusko hospital, the Junior Auxiliary of Vicksburg, and was a Miss Mississippi pageant chaperone.
Along with her parents she was preceded in death by her husband of 65 years, Charles L. Browning, her 3 brothers and 7 sisters.
She is survived by her daughters, Deb (Dick) Algire of Mt. Gilead, Ohio and Beth (Tim) Smith of Sedona, Arizona; grandchildren; Jen Algire, Lynlee Dzugan, Andy Algire; and 4 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made in honor of Martha Browning to her favorite charities: First United Methodist Church of Corinth or Amen Food Pantry.
