Martha Kathlyn "Kathy" Ross

Kathy finally lost her long struggle with cancer on Thursday, August 11, 2016 in her home surrounded by her family. She was born on April 3, 1948 in Starkville, MS to the late Freeman and Martha Evans. Kathy was a 1966 graduate of Murrah High School. She and Bill were married in 1967 in Jackson, MS at North Park Presbyterian Church and had two children and four grandchildren. Kathy was a long time resident of Corinth. She enjoyed gardening, loved children, Christmas Holiday and most of all her family. She had many special places she loved to visit, her favorite being Cody, WY. She had friends all over the country and will be missed by all.

She is survived by her husband, Dr. William Ross of Corinth; daughter, Melinda Ross Hammons and husband Rob of Greenwood, MS; son, John Freeman Ross and wife Jennifer of Corinth; four grandchildren, Emma, Kayson, Hunter and Jackson; beloved brother, Allan Evans and sister, Marabeth Brooks (Wally) and a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, family and friends.
