Martha Jane Mullins Wilbanks

Funeral service for Martha Jane Wilbanks, 65, of Walnut will be on Sunday, October 3, 2010 at McPeters Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Trent Nethery officiating. Burial will be in the County Line Cemetery near Walnut.

Mrs. Wilbanks died at her residence on Saturday, October 2, 2010. She was born on Saturday, December 2, 1944 to the late Albert and Ordie Lee Mullins. During her life she was a housewife, a homemaker, a mother, and a friend to all. She enjoyed going to church and was of the Baptist Faith.

Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, the father of her children, Loyd Benton Flake; one sister Lola Mae Wilbanks; and one brother, Charles Mullins.

She is survived by her husband, Paul Ray Wilbanks; two daughters, Christi Barnes and her husband Jerry, and Kathy Peterson; four sons, Lloyd Timothy Flake, Stephen Flake and his wife Michelle, Tommy Flake and his wife Adrianna, and Billy Flake; one stepson, Wesley Wilbanks and his wife Jennifer; two sisters, Betty Smith, Mavis Hicks; twelve grandchildren; one great-grandchild, several nieces, nephews and a host of friends.

Visitation will be on Saturday, October 2nd from 6:00 P.M. till 9:00 P.M. and from 1:00 P.M. till service time on Sunday.
