Mary Frances Moss Hutson

Mary Frances Hutson, 102, died Tuesday, November 23, 2010 at Magnolia Regional Health Care Center. She was the oldest surviving member of Corinth High School and the oldest member of her church, Gaines Chapel United Methodist Church. She was a member of the UDC and DAR. She was a former school teacher and social worker.

Funeral services will be Friday, November 26, 2010 at 1:00 pm at McPeters Inc. Funeral Directors Chapel with Minister G W Childs and Rev. Tony Pounders officiating. Burial will follow in City Cemetery.

Survivors include two daughters, Eleanor Hora (Dr. Jack) of Corinth and Caroline Barnett of Deerfield, Ill.; six grandchildren, Greg Hutson, Allison Hoyt, Leslie King, Niel Hora, and John and Tim Hora; six great grandchildren, Jordan Hora, Jathan Hora, Tyler Shope, Morgan Hoyt, Sadie Hoyt, and Gregory Hutson ; and two special friends, Shirley James and Annette Smith.

She was preceded in death by her parents Frank Leon and Fannie Lee Burnett Moss; her husband, Luther Hutson; and a son, Frank Moss Hutson.

Pallbearers will be Greg Hutson, Niel Hora, Tim Hora, Jordan Hora, Tyler Shope, and Jathan Hora.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Milton Sandy, Bill Dobbins, Ron and Minnie Prior, Don Brawner, Geoff Sjostrom, Lelia Kelly, and Lynn Hoyt.

In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the church or charity of your choice.
