Services for Mrs. Porter at McPeters Funeral Home Chapel on Friday, January 20, 2012 at 1:00 P.M. Bro. Joe Loncar of Wheeler Grove Baptist Church will officiate. Visitation will be on Thursday, January 19, 2012 from 5:00 - 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
A graveside side service will be Saturday, January 21, 2012, 1:00 P.M. at the Woodlawn Cemetery in Columbia, MS.
Survivors: include a nephew, Rodney L. Hardin of Corinth; a brother James Hardin (Dixie) of Corinth; two great nephews Phillip and Andrew Hardin.
Mrs. Porter is preceded in death by her husband, Harry Gene Porter and her parents, Filmore Baxter and Lula Hardin.
Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital.
